#Tough time for police
Kerala Police Chief asking people to keep all kinds of celebrations during Onam to a minimum is welcome.
It is not the middle-aged or the elderly who often create problems in the traffic lanes, but high-speed bikers between the ages of 18 and 30 and other young people. Adolescents also engage in illegal activities.
It is very risky for people to visit beaches and tourist spots because of Covid-19 and therefore who travel to these places should be urged to strictly comply with COVID-19 protocols. Night patrols by the police should be carried out on all secondary roads during the Onam period.
Onam season is a tough time for police to get a handle on all matters, but people want it in this pandemic season
