In India, the legal process moves at a snail's pace. The slow process of our courts often denies justice, because justice delayed is justice denied. There are many reasons why justice delays, including the worthless petitions of some people seeking notoriety.
The Supreme Court's rejection of a petition challenging Darwin's theory of evolution and Einstein's theory of special relativity is a step in the right direction. The SC court said there cannot be a petition under Article 32 of the Indian Constitution to challenge scientific beliefs,
The petitioner's need to prove that the Darwinian theory of evolution and Einstein's equation are false might have originated from understanding. There is no other acceptable theory for Darwinism and that in physics there is no valid theory other than Einstein's theory to explain nuclear energy production. There is experimental evidence to support Einstein's special theory of relativity.
