തിരുവനന്തപുരം: പ്ലസ്‌ ടുവിന്‌ എല്ലാ സ്കൂളുകളിലും 20% സീറ്റ്‌ വര്‍ദ്ധിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗം തീരുമാനിച്ചു. സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്കൂളുകളില്‍ ഉടന്‍തന്നെ വര്‍ദ്ധന നടപ്പില്‍ വരുത്തും. സ്വകാര്യ സ്കൂളുകളില്‍ മാനേജ്മെന്റിന്‌ താല്‍പര്യമുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ വര്‍ദ്ധന നടപ്പാക്കിയാല്‍ മതിയെന്ന്‌ മന്ത്രിസഭായോഗ തീരുമാനം അറിയിച്ചുകൊണ്ട്‌ മുഖ്യമന്ത്രി ഉമ്മന്‍ചാണ്ടി പറഞ്ഞു. വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ അവകാശ നിയമം നടപ്പാക്കുംവരെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത്‌ ആദിവാസി മേഖലകളിലും പിന്നാക്ക പ്രദേശങ്ങളിലുമുള്ള ബദല്‍ സ്കൂളുകള്‍ തുടരും.
Comment: Does it mean that all parallel colleges should be closed soon? No one will be permitted to learn alphabets. And that is the policy of this government and previous one. It is the parallel colleges that teach illiterate students alphabets and not those posh-posh schools, whether aided or government.
